Our second home, Rhos Cottage, is a four-bedded house with two transitional flats in the grounds. Set in two acres of land, it is close to all amenities and bus routes to Swansea City Centre.
The focus of our work with 13 to18 year old young people at Rhos Cottage is providing a period of stability and consistency of care whilst transitioning them towards independence. Therapeutic provision is available, if required, from the Hiraeth Institute and the young people can follow our independence programme, Focused Futures and achieve a QCF qualification in independent living, Moving Forward.
The independence programme is further enhanced by two transitional flats on site and young people move to a more semi-independent life whilst developing skills in living.
All young people are encouraged to follow post school training and our QCF training centre enables young people to achieve vocational qualifications in addition.
