Tegfan Home

Situated in Gowerton, West Wales, and just a short drive from the Swansea City Centre, our Tegfan home is a four-bed home for individuals with complex needs associated with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. The home provides medium to longer-term placements for children and young people between the ages of 5 and 19.

The home is just a fifteen-minute drive to the fantastic Gower coast, wonderful beaches and tourist attractions and a short drive will take you to the beautiful Brecon Beacons.

Our model at Tegfan transitions children and young people to foster care, family or a return home. They have access to therapeutic provision, should this be required, delivered by the Hiraeth Institute and are provided with a period of stability, reinforced with appropriate boundaries and consistent care and role models.

Priority Childcare has service level agreements with several independent foster services to assist in moving young people to appropriate placements.
